Berlin, Germany, 5 September 2019 – Technics today introduces its new DJ headphones: the EAH-DJ1200. The EAH-DJ1200 succeeds the RP-DJ1200, which has sold more than 500,000 units since its launch in 1996. The EAH-DJ1200 not only inherits the overall design concept of its predecessor but also better meets the needs of today's DJs, with more advanced features, improved styling and excellent sound quality. Beyond everyday listening, the EAH-DJ1200 lets you monitor the rhythm of the music precisely even in loud places such as clubs. The matte black finish makes them a perfect match for the SL-1200MK7 DJ turntable.
The new driver uses a 40 mm CCAW voice coil. It delivers clean, detailed sound and handles high input levels (2500 mW) without distortion, even at high volume. Thanks to the well-balanced sound across every range, the music the DJ plays doesn't get lost in the surrounding noise of a loud venue, so monitoring stays comfortable.
The EAH-DJ1200 are lightweight on-ear headphones. The housings have locking swivel mechanisms so you can monitor with one ear. They adapt to every monitoring style DJs use, and they fold up for easy carrying and storage.
The detachable cable is easy to clean and maintain, and its lock prevents it from being pulled out accidentally during use. The stretchable coiled cable with an angled plug resists internal wire breakage, for ease of use and extra durability – built to handle intensive professional use in tough conditions.
Designed on the basis of the RP-DJ1200, a best-seller for more than 20 years, the EAH-DJ1200 have a modern look built around black. Highly durable and highly functional, they pair perfectly with the SL-1200MK7 turntable, which also has a matte black finish.
